New Digital Ad: "Caught On Tape"
Posted August 04, 2015
Today the Kentucky Democratic Party is releasing a new digital ad in the KY gubernatorial race: "Caught on Tape."
The spot features video of Matt Bevin lying about his positions on several critical issues in the gubernatorial campaign, including: his plan to end the Medicaid expansion immediately, his opposition to early childhood education, his opposition to public-private-partnerships, and his comments about the Farm Bill.
The video closes with footage of Bevin's most recent lie at Fancy Farm -- falsely claiming that he "thanked" the participants after infamously using his speech to attack the event.
"Whether Matt Bevin is lying about his positions on the critical issues we're facing in this video footage or lying now, it's all more proof that Bevin is an East Coast Con Man that Kentuckians cannot trust to look out for us," said Kentucky Democratic Party Chairman Patrick Hughes. "I would remind Bevin that the object in front of him at many events is a video camera, and the next time he tries to mislead Kentuckians about his plans that would hurt our hardworking families he should really check the tape."
The ad campaign will target voters across Kentucky through social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.
