New Web Video: Fun With Bevin's B-Roll
Posted August 13, 2015
This week Matt Bevin's campaign uploaded over 30 minutes of silent "B-roll" footage of him acting in various scenarios to Youtube -- a tactic employed by campaigns to signal to outside groups that they need help running positive television commercials. In fact, in 2014, Bevin mocked Sen. McConnell by releasing a web video using McConnell's b-roll reel.
Today the Kentucky Democratic Party is releasing a new web video: "Fun With Bevin's B-roll," highlighting some of Bevin's most outrageous and dishonest comments that likely won't be featured in TV ads from his supporters.
"Some of this footage may find it's way into television advertisements, but you can bet Matt Bevin's East Coast allies won't include the many lies he's told Kentuckians throughout his campaign," said David Bergstein of the Kentucky Democratic Party. "If Kentucky residents do end up seeing this b-roll on their television screens, they should remember that it's just as dishonest and phony as Matt Bevin is."
