New Ad on Romney’s Failure to Come Clean and Release More Tax Returns: When Romney goes to Ohio today, he’ll see a new campaign ad asking whether he’s avoided paying his fair share in taxes. He recently said his campaign has “put out as much as we’re going to put out.” It makes you wonder: what’s Mitt Romney hiding?

As governor, Romney stifled start-up creation in Massachusetts. He claimed his business experience would help Massachusetts small businesses, but he failed to create an economic environment that would attract entrepreneurs and encourage small business owners to grow and hire. Instead small business activity slowed dramatically.

Mitt Romney has been deliberately twisting President Obama’s words around to falsely suggest that the President doesn’t value small businesses or the entrepreneurial spirit that built this country. His distortions and accusations are flat-out wrong.

Election Day is just 100 days away, and it’s going to take every single person to make a difference in this election. It could come down to just a few votes in a single state, and even one conversation could make the difference between moving forward with President Obama and falling backward with Mitt Romney.

Yesterday Mitt Romney said he would be “happy to go back and look” at his old tax returns to see if he ever paid a tax rate lower than the 13.9 percent he paid in 2010 – which is a lower rate than many middle-class families pay. If he’s “happy” to provide more information about his tax returns, he should come clean and release more of them.

The Facts: The false claims in Romney’s latest ad don’t hold water. Even Congressional Republicans’ wasteful year-long investigation into the President’s job-creating clean energy investments affirms that they were made on the merits. Those investments are helping make us more energy independent.

Corporate Raider: Mitt Romney’s corporate-buyout firm was an outsourcing pioneer, making a fortune helping companies outsource jobs to countries like China and India. His economic philosophy put maximizing profits for himself and his investors before workers, companies and communities – even if it eliminated American jobs.

Romney Would Take Away All of Obamacare’s Benefits:

Vice President Biden is in Iowa today launching his Strengthening the Middle Class Tour. He’s contrasting President Obama’s commitment to bolstering middle-class security for Iowa families with Mitt Romney’s history of shipping American jobs overseas.
