It was only weeks ago that Santorum was hammering Romney for his failed record as Massachusetts governor, when Romney:

  • Ranked 47th out of 50 in job creation, with manufacturing jobs falling at twice the national average for the third-worst record in the country.
  • Left his successor with a billion-dollar deficit and Massachusetts residents with more debt per person than any other state.
  • Created six times more government jobs than private-sector jobs.
